This is a very nice to have addition for the game with scenarios, variant counters, and additional rules, commentary, and discussion.

We recently obtained a copy of the Stalingrad III material. We didn't have time to clean it up, but the scans are pretty basic in the first place. We will begin including them on the reference DVD, but they are here as a free download if you missed them: Stalingrad_III

Counters

We thought the original counters looked a bit dull in the pink and light blue, so we redesigned them with different colors using Anzio as a model. These counters are single sided, laminated, and mounted on chipboard. We kept the original font, which was also used in the 1914 game. We also added the variant counters to the game including the Turkish Army, German paratroopers, German Aircraft, German Seige Guns, additional Soviet infantry, and some Soviet heavy tanks. We tried to add all 15 of the factories that were called for in one of the variants, but ran out of room. Another article suggests having more than one set of these counters and with 2 sets you would have all 15 factories. You could also substitute other counters instead, your choice. These counters are single sided, laminated, and mounted on chipboard. They are printed at 600dpi.

Original Game Map

This game map has been created from scans of the original game board. It has been printed on 24lb bond coated paper, and laminated. This map is on one piece of 24x36 paper and is suitable for wall mounting so you can use magnetic counters with it. The actual map measures 22 x 28, you may cut it if you wish. This map is mailed in a cool black shipping tube, with plastic ends so it will not get folded or damaged in transit.
